Our next meeting is Monday, April 20, at 4:00 in the Brentwood Public Library auditorium. Nick Mango, a Brentwood teacher, will present a hands-on program on the origins of sound recording using an original Edison Wax Cylinder Phonograph. You will hear authentic recordings from the 1890s to the 1920s, played live. Volunteers will also have the opportunity to create a recording on a real wax cylinder using early 1900s recording equipment. All are welcome!
