Our first meeting of the year will be on Monday, Feb. 16 at 3:00 (note earlier time), in the Brentwood Public Library auditorium, when our own Deborah Epps will discuss her book “My Heart String: the Creation of the Man and My Daddy”. This is a heartfelt memoir honoring the life and influence of her father, set against the backdrop of Southern Black history.
Deborah Epps is a psychotherapist who had a private practice for 31 years and who has worked in various capacities with both inpatients and outpatients. She has also run girls and parents groups in Ghana, West Africa.
